Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 April 2026
These terms govern your use of the chieflyai.com website (the “Website”). The Website is operated by ChieflyAI LTD (“Chiefly,” “we,” “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16979021 and registered office at The Old Town Hall, Market Place, Oundle, Peterborough, England, PE8 4BA.
By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Website.
If you’re using our product — at dev.chieflyai.com, app.chieflyai.com, or any other product surface — your use is governed by our Platform Subscription Agreement, not this document.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone who accesses the Website, including casual visitors, prospective customers, journalists, recruiters, and procurement reviewers. They apply whether or not you create an account or contact us.
2. What we publish on the Website
We publish information about our company, our product, our pricing, our security posture, our policies, and our open roles (if any). We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but:
- Information on the Website is provided for general information only. It doesn’t form a contract or a binding offer unless we say so explicitly.
- We may change or remove any content on the Website at any time without notice.
- Where the Website describes the product, the product itself (and the contract that governs it) takes precedence over any marketing description.
3. Things you can do
You can:
- Browse the Website
- Read, share, and link to public pages
- Contact us through our contact form, our published email addresses, or any other channel we’ve offered
- Quote short passages from the Website in articles, reviews, or research, with attribution
- Use Website screenshots in a review or article that follows ordinary fair-dealing principles
4. Things you can’t do
You can’t:
- Copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the Website without our written permission
- Use the Website (or our brand) in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you when we aren’t
- Scrape the Website systematically or in a way that interferes with other people’s use of it, including operating bots, crawlers, or automated agents at a rate that imposes a meaningful load on our servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any code we ship to your browser
- Use the Website to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models without our written permission
- Use the Website to send spam, run phishing campaigns, or distribute malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its underlying infrastructure
If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to security@chieflyai.com. We acknowledge security correspondence within one business day.
5. Our intellectual property
The Website, its content, and our brand (including the Chiefly name, the ChieflyAI wordmark, and our logos) are owned by ChieflyAI LTD or our licensors. Nothing on the Website grants you any licence to our trademarks beyond the limited fair-dealing uses described above.
6. Your content
If you send us content through the contact form, by email, or by any other means — including suggestions, feedback, ideas, or anonymous user research — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content to operate, improve, and promote our products. You confirm that you have the right to share that content with us.
We treat personal data (your name, your email, your messages) in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites, services, or tools. We don’t control them and we’re not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Following an external link is at your own discretion.
8. No warranties
The Website is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we don’t make any warranties about it — express or implied — including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
We work hard to keep the Website running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or always be correct.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising out of or related to your use of the Website
- Our total liability arising out of or related to the Website (taken together) is limited to £100
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that can’t be limited or excluded under English law
For clarity: product liability is governed by our Platform Subscription Agreement, not by this £100 cap.
10. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when. We’ll publish the current version on the Website; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from or related to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute, except that we may bring proceedings to enforce our rights in any court that has jurisdiction over you.
If you access the Website from outside England and Wales, you agree that English law applies to your use of the Website regardless of any conflicting local rule.
